Tonight the POT Luck Dinner is ON!

Lisa & I are making

Holiday Chia Pudding

Yield 1 1/4 cups


1/4 cup chia seeds

1/4 cup shredded, unsweetened, dried coconut

1 cup water

1/4 cup raw cashews (soaked 1 hour, drained and rinsed)

4 soft medjool dates, pitted

2 cloves

1 teaspoon lucuma powder

1/2 teaspoon powdered ginger

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/8 teaspoon cinnamon


Place the chia seeds and coconut in a small bowl, briefly stir to mix, and set aside. Blend the remaining ingredients until smooth. Pour the blended cashew mixture into the bowl with the chia seeds and coconut and stir. Wait a few minutes and stir again. (You’ll notice the chia seeds beginning to take on a gelatinous texture.) Wait a few minutes, again, and stir. Do the “wait and stir” once more, and then place the Holiday Chia Pudding in the refrigerator for about 15 - 20 minutes (or longer, if desired). Then, enjoy.

Brian James Lucas aka Chef BeLive has been creating raw and livin
g cuisine for 11 years. Originally he learned his skills from Juliano Brotman
(author of Raw, owner of Planet Raw Santa Monica)
and Jeremy Saffron(author of The Raw Truth)
Brian took over Juliano's restaurant in San Francisco when he moved
to Santa Monica to pursue opening Planet Raw, and started his
own restaurant Organica: The Living Cuisine from 98-99.
This will be his first East Coast appearance.
He will be sharing his culinary skills with a demonstration and
tasting of a couple of his recipes, along with Orgasm of the Taste Buds,
his teaser version of his up coming book with 30 recipes.
As a bonus, he is bringing a phenomenal product called Ormaji to the East Coast
for the first time as well. Ormaji is a clay that is high in monoatomics (ORMUS).
In Sanskrit, Ormaji means: Or- The Royal Precious Element.

Another Rawking Weekend!!!!!!


Frankie G. & Goji Girl shared with a crowed house about their Raw Experience on Saturday! Kevin & Annmarie Gianni and Jim Kwik also stopped by Saturday!
The Cafe catered an event in Westport
that Robert O. Young (Ph Mircale author).
Monday we had a Ribbon Cutting
with the First Selectman
and the CT Post came by to do a
story & took some picture!
